Moving to Astro and Hello World Again!
With new stack and new modules, my website is now more informative and faster.
My personal website has always been like my personal history. I worked alone as a Freelance Fullstack Developer for many years and it was always enough for me to show my work and show my Resume. But deep down I was dreaming of a more complicated system where I could share what I liked quickly and with a short description, and blog posts where I could write long words about what was on my mind.
In the past, it used to be necessary to stand up the database to do these things, now it is very easy with JAMStack solutions.
In Virail, the company I currently work for, we made a total change in the past months and switched our entire infrastructure to Astro. With the experience I gained from here, I realised that it was time to switch my own site to Astro and slowly implement what I had in mind.
Structurally, I’ve got the system up and running, and I’m hoping to slowly refine the design. Let’s see what time will tell.
